We're really excited to get you started on your coding adventure! We have some important information below, please make sure you read all details. If you are unsure on some of the details shown below, please also see our FAQS here akotech.nz/OurPrograms#faqs Date: Monday 30th Sep - Tuesday 1st Oct Time: 9-4pm Venue: At Motutapu Room, Takapuna Normal Intermediate School, 26 Northcote Road, Takapuna NB: Check-in starts from 8.30am at the earliest. Please do not drop your child before this as we are not able to provide supervision. Main programme finishes at 4pm, with pick-up expected no later than 4.15pm as charges may apply. . Program Information Here's an overview of our 2 Day Program Day One — We’ll get to know each other with some icebreakers and get to know and select our courses and groups. We start following structured lesson plans in text or block languages. We have run around time for morning break, Lunchtime and afternoon. Day Two — Continue on with structured learning of computer science concepts. Learn and play with Sphero robots, plan and prep for end of the day presentation. General Information CodeCamp starts at 9am and ends at 4pm. Remember to bring your lunch. Please help us create a nut-free environment. We want to avoid any possible allergies.

"AkoVerse After-School Program: 9 Weeks to Creative Brilliance" Embark on a 9 week journey where students explore AkoVerse's 3D gamified universe and dive into Design, Art, Storytelling, Sports, Fashion, Python, Web Design, or Javascript. 1.5 hours X 9 weeks after school program includes: - 6 weeks of computer-based online coding - 2 weeks of robotic coding (programming x testing) - 1 week of finalising project and presentation Our program is suitable for children ages 7 to 14 and depending on your child's level of experience and time at our CodeCamps AkoTech, students learn the following technical skills whether it be visual or text coding in order of priority, starting with problem solving, debugging, decomposition, algorithms, loops, variables, conditional logic, operators and functions. Our programs teach the all important soft skills such as team work, design & planning, communication, time management, Agile project management, critical thinking, presenting, conflict resolution. Date: Every Friday: 18th Oct - 13th Dec Time: 3.15pm - 4.45pm Venue Address: The Rose Centre, 4 School Road, Belmont, Auckland 0622 BYOD SUPER IMPORTANT: Students must have access to an email account at all times. You will need a Google Account for Gmail. If you are under the age of 13 we suggest setting up a family account, you can allow your children access to this account while on camp and then you may change the password after if you wish. Please don't forget your Username & Password for Gmail. Students can use their School Gmail accounts but must be able to access the emails. Please make sure to write down your login details if you have existing accounts with Scratch, Tynker, Gmail etc. and put them somewhere safe and bring them with you.

Every Wednesday during the school term, who host a low sensory session from 9:30-11:30. No arcades, no music, reduced entries. Usual entry prices apply. TERM TIME ONLY
