Providing educational childcare for children aged 2 years to 5 years, at Wananga we are family, for family. Established by Joan and Wally Kennett in their home in 1977, it is still run by the family in the original family home.
At Wananga we are flexible for families. You choose the hours and days you wish your child to attend.
At Wananga we believe in families not profit, offering FREE 20 hours ECE for Two, Three and Four year olds and an affordable rate of $3.50 per hour.
We welcome your whānau to visit the Wananga whānau at our home away from home, 22 Ward Street, Palmerston North.

    Highly recommend
    This Play center is top notch with awesome well trained and qualified teachers. My son Tennessee enjoyed attending here Unfortunately we moved suddenly and I was unable to thank the staff for the awesome job they had done with my son he misses yous so much to all staff Nan thank you and your staff for being so patient with all my transits and the education yous play center have given tennessee missed much Emmy Maddy and Tenny
