Description

Our club was established in 1985 and offers training in self-defence, physical fitness and character education.

Our instructor started training in 1974. He is currently a 5th Degree Black Belt and International Instructor.

He also runs training courses on behalf of ITFNZ throughout the country for upcoming new instructors.

The minimum age of membership of our club is four years and there is no maximum.

Our national body is the International Taekwon-Do Foundation of New Zealand, which consists of over 90 member clubs throughout NZ.

ITFNZ is linked to the International Taekwon-Do Federation, whose headquarters is in Benidorm, Spain.

Part of our activities includes practising the 24 patterns devised by Chang Hon, which is the pen name of our Founder, General Choi Hong Hi.
