Franklin Basketball began in 2012 with only a few kids and has quickly grown to include over 400 players from around Franklin. Counties Shotokan Karate Association first opened its doors for karate training in 1992, it now has dojo's in Pukekohe, Waiuku, Maraetai, Drury, Hokitika, Alexandra, Rotorua and Whakatane.
