Science Alive! is a not-for-profit science and technology centre dedicated to promoting the value of science and technology to the public. Despite the loss of our building in the 2011 Canterbury earthquakes, we continue to provide effective and innovative education programmes in schools and the wider community. We are a community-owned, not-for-profit early learning centre located in the idyllic Barnett Park in Redcliffs, Christchurch. We are a Kindergarten with 3 fully trained teachers. Our sessions are 8:45am - 2:45pm. The session is split into 2 x 3 hr sessions with many children taking the full day -6hr option.
