Alfriston Hockey Club plays in the Counties Manukau Hockey Association Competition. The club currently has three Senior Womens teams and 2 Junior mixed teams. AHC’s playing colours are purple and white. The senior women playing in purple and white tops and skirts and juniors playing in purple and white tops and black shorts.

The club promotes a positive, fun attitude to playing encouraging players to be supportive of each other and enjoy the sport. We provide experienced coaching to all our teams to accelerate growth; developing skills, gameplay and an understanding of strategy. The club motto – Play with Passion – has been chosen by our players in 2015 to convey the positive attitudes, determination and persistence all our members show on and off the field.

AHC was established in 2008 when both Ardmore Hockey Club and Manurewa Hockey Clubs chose to amalgamate forming a strengthened core and a stronger support network.

Our three women’s teams consist of a competitive A team named the Alfriston Arrows, a social team for those who just want to play for fun called the Alfriston Lady Hawks and a Development team for our up and coming youth players called the Eagles.
All of the senior women’s games and practices are in Pukekohe, at Rosa Birch Park on Beresford street. Our juniors practice at Rosehill College but also play in Pukekohe.
